Video clip: Sue explains that living with pain on a day-to-day basis takes up a lot of time and energy.

I think the only thing I would add is, is that - comes up in conversation sometimes with people who, you know, who develop limitations or back problems, is - Or really any form of pain, long term pain. Is the impact of, of managing that pain. And the amount of time and energy that you - is used, in thinking about your day. And if I do that, if I go to work, can I then go out in the evening? Or if I do a whole, you know, working week, what do I do at the weekend? And I think that's a big conversation. And it's something that never occurs to people until they're having to manage pain.

And lots of people comment on it, just how - how exhausting it is, constantly having to think ahead. And build in recovery time. Yeah. So I, I think that's a whole other conversation [laugh]. You know, it's not just about being able to actually get to work and do your work, - you know - there's a huge knock-on effect on the rest of your life.
