Interview excerpt: Mary explains that occupational health were able to refer her for further scans.

Image representing Mary© Disability NarrativesSo I reported to my senior tutor at college. And she immediately referred me to the university occupational health unit, who saw me very quickly. They saw me within a week, and were fairly interventionist, in terms of ringing GPs and helping to facilitate scans - MRI scans and so on. They were helpful, on the whole. And then at the end of that year, they transferred me into the care of the disability staff officer [Staff Disability Advisor].
