Interview excerpt: Charlotte wants managers to be aware that the Staff Disability Advisor can support their staff (when they are not able to).

Yeah. And I know throughout the university there are lots of - you know - people who are in management roles by virtue of the seniority of their post. Rather than because they are trained as managers, or because they really are interested in managing. And so I can see how a situation like mine would have been incredibly frustrating for them. And they just would have no interest, no capacity, no time, to deal with it. In which case I'd much rather they said "Go and talk to this person." You know, "Go and talk to Caroline Moughton, and then come back to me. You know, get her to come back to me and tell me what I need to do to help you." Or something like that. Because it’s like, fine. You know, then I don't have to go round the houses, trying to persuade you, because you just really - you're limited. And I get that. So I just - It's just more honest..
