Do you have any messages for people running departments?

That's a more complicated one. No, you know, just be thoughtful and remember that diversity is a strength and building diversity in teams is really important, and there's not one way that anybody academic or support staff or whatever, any person or manager, there's not sort of one way that's the right way but there, there are obviously more effective ways and less effective ways.

But I think recognising that there's not one way to succeed, especially I guess if I'm talking about academics. That there are different measures of success, is probably what I would say is important.
