Video clip: Anushka is enjoying her DPhil. It has given her the opportunity to be creative and do what she finds interesting. It is sometimes hard to decide on priorities.

And how do you, how have you found being a PhD student?

It’s fun. It’s a good chance to be a bit more creative, to follow things that you find interesting, to become a bit of an expert in your little niche area. And it’s got; you know it’s a great time to acquire new skills. It’s hard though as well. It’s, it’s quite demanding, you have to be able to sort of guide yourself in terms of what you think is best, ‘cos there are so many opportunities. There are so many things that could be done and you need to decide which ones you’re going to pursue and which ones you think are most important or useful, helpful to you.
